Glossary · Testing
Laboratory tests on cells, tissues or chemistry instead of animals, often called new approach methodologies. Examples are skin irritation on reconstructed human epidermis (OECD Test Guideline 439) and skin sensitisation tests under OECD Test Guidelines 442C, 442D and 442E.
