A word from our founder

Good science, done honestly, is the surest route to a product people trust. Get the foundations right and great innovation follows.

I founded Guires in 2009 with a team of three and a passion for research and analytics. Before that I worked with WHO SEARO and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), served as visiting faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and supported several global pharmaceutical clients. Since then the group has grown into six specialist businesses serving researchers, life science companies and consumer brands worldwide.

I founded Cosmetic Science Lab at the Guires R&D Innovation Centre to bring that same research depth to beauty and personal care, giving brands one development partner from the first formula to the finished product. As Chairman of the group, I set its vision and long-term strategy and lead its two divisions, Guires Research Services and Guires Labs, through their chairpersons.

At CSL, I guide the leadership team, the heads of formulation, regulatory affairs, and testing and clinical studies, on direction, scientific standards and client commitments. They lead the day-to-day work with brands, supported by multidisciplinary teams of scientists, clinicians, writers, statisticians and lab specialists in Chennai and Manchester. Together we hold to a culture of evidence, integrity and client partnership, so every product, claim and market file is built on evidence you can check.
